It is known that earlier Ajith had asked the Director Vishnuvardhan, who directed Billa, to come up with a fascinating script.

Now, ‘Mankatha’ progressing smoothly, Ajith wants to begin the discussions on the script and other details of ‘Billa 2′. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that the production house of Director Lingusamy will be producing ‘Billa2′. Fine details of the movie will be finalized before the release of ‘Mankatha’.

It is well known that the veteran filmmaker Vishnuvardhan and Ajith’s successful combination gave us a blockbuster movie ‘Billa’ in 2007. The movie was a milestone in Kollywood for its powerful action sequences for showcasing Ajith in a clean and bright don look.

With the results proving success of ‘Billa’, there was a talk about the making of ‘Billa 2′ with Ajith in the direction of director Vishnuvardhan. Now the latest news is that the director and producer Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandra Bose have agreed to produce this movie under Tirupathi Brothers banner. Vishnuvardhan has already written the script. Currently Ajith is busy with the shooting of the much awaited project ‘Mankatha’ and will take this new project once he completes it.
