‘Vengai’ the forthcoming Tamil movie directed by Hari, has Dhanush and Tamanna in the main roles. ‘Vengai’ is Hari’s next project after the commercial success of ‘Singam’. He is known for commercial success. He has worked with many stars such as Simbu (Kovil), Surya in three films (Aaru, Vel, Singam) , Vikram in 2 films (Saamy, Arul), Sarath Kumar (in Ayya), Vishal (in Thamirabharani), Prashanth ( in Tamizh) and with Bharath (in Seval). This is the first time director Hari is teaming with Dhanush for ‘Vengai’.

It is well known that director Lingusamy had signed Simbu and Madhavan for a multi-starer movie with Tamanna playing the female lead. As everyone are eager  to see the great combo on the silver screen, a report said that Madhavan will not be a part of the movie.

Madhavan decided to be out of the project as the role required him to perform some extraordinary stunts. Since the role is highly important for the subject, it is said that Lingusamy is searching for another top hero in the industry.

Jayam Ravi and Tamanna have acted together for the movie ‘Thillalangadi’ that which has been set to release in the coming months. During a recent interview, Jayam Ravi was asked about the glamorous role of Tamanna, he laughed and shared the experiences he had while shooting the movie.

Ravi told the reporters that this movie was the highest budget movie of his home production company. Vadivelu, Santhanam, Ganja Karuppu and Sathyan are handling the comedy portion of the movie. Tamannaah has acted very glamorously in a movie for the first time and you can see the beautiful side of Tamanna in this movie.

On an Interview to the media, director Lingusamy talked about his upcoming movie Paiya. When asked about the story, Lingusamy replied, Paiya will be a story of journey, with lots of interesting things happening on the way. He also said one of the key things about this movie is flash back, which we had projected in a very colorful way. Paiya is a very stylish film, besides recent films with dirty dresses.

When asked Lingusamy about his next direction, he replied I just told a story to Vijay and he was impressed. Other details is yet to be  finalized.

‘Paiya’, the upcoming movie of Karthi after ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is scheduled to be released this December.  But now the crew has decided to release the movie ‘Paiya’ only after ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. The directorial venture of Lingusamy after ‘Bheema’ is produced under the banner of Tiruppathi Brothers. Madhi has handled the cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music and Anthony is taking care of editing.

Tamannah who paired Suriya in the movie ‘Ayan’ will pair his brother of  ‘Paruthiveeran’ fame Karthi in his upcoming movie ‘Paiya’. This new movie is directed by Lingusamy after his last movie ‘Bheema’. Paiya is produced by Subash Chandrabose under Thirupathi Brothers banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose tunes for the lyrics of Na Muthukumar and Yugabharathi.

Surya is back with his usual power and magic after Vaaranam Aayiram with his latest flick Ayan. For the first time Tamannah pairs Surya in this movie directed by K V Anand under the legendary banner AVM. Songs have already topped the audio charts and it is yet another Haris Jeyaraj’s classy musical piece. Stunt master Kanal Kannan has handled the racy stunt sequences and Surya and Tamannah has shared wonderful onscreen chemistry. Ayan is Surya’s next Tamil movie after ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’. Co-starring with Surya is the dashing-beauty Tamanna. Produced by renowned production house AVM, the music is by Harris Jayaraj and editing is by Anthony. Vettaikaran is the next movie of Vijay. The film is directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. The heroine of the movie is still under discussion. Sources say that it could be Illeana D’Cruz  or Nayanthara or Asin and some even say that it could be Tamanna.  It is worth noting that Villu stars Vijay and Nayanthara and hence it could be Asin and Illeana. However we will expect to get more information shortly.

Vijay is now at the top slot in the Tamil actors while Ajith, Suriya, Vikram and Jayam Ravi are not far away.
