Rahul Khanna has always out of favor working with kids and animals. He feels that kids and animals are difficult to deal with on the sets. But now Rahul Khanna has unwillingly agreed to do a film with ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan in his directorial venture – Tahaan which required him to act along with a kid and a donkey.

But Rahul’s whole perception about working with kids and animals changed while shooting on the sets of Tahaan. He was entirely overwhelmed with the kid who was so natural while acting. A scene required Rahul to hold a cold face while the kid cries. The kid performed the scene so well that the entire crew was in tears and Rahul had to hold back his.

Rahul said that the he has not seen an animal as beautiful as the donkey. He believes that the donkey was more expressive than the kids and very well behaved and disciplined.
