Selvaraghavan’s ‘Mayakkam Enna’ audio was released yesterday and the songs were aired on Radio Mirchi. This movie has Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. Surprisingly Dhanush has turned into a lyricist and has rendered two songs in the film and his brother Selvaraghavan, the director of ‘Mayakkam Enna’, has also sung one song. GV Prakash music is rocking and the songs have already getting a good response from his fans.

Director Selvaraghavan has said something about his upcoming movie ‘Mayakkam Enna’. The script is not the typical one, it is completely a new script and it is about the next generation. He also added, the audiences will have a new experience when they watch this movie. The movie features Dhanush and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. GV Prakash has composed music for the film and Sunder Ramu, Mathivanan Rajendran, Pooja Balu, Soni Barring, Rajiv Choudhry and others play supporting roles. The audio launch is scheduled on 19th September.

‘Erandam Ulagam’ is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Selvaraghavan. It stars his brother Dhanush in lead role, paired up with Andrea Jeremiah.The film deals with married couple who have their own dark past and the whole package that comes along with it. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for this movie and it is produced by K. Vimalgeetha.

Brothers back together for the movie ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan has given many hits together. Initially it was Karthi and Sandhya who was considered for the lead roles in this movie but now Selvaraghavan has decided to go with Dhanush and Andrea. This movie has completed its first schedule a few days back.

Director Selvaraghavan with his team is in Hyderabad to shoot the second schedule of the ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’. This movie is produced by Selvaraghavan’s father, filmmaker, Kasturi Raja under the banner of RK Productions Pvt. Ltd. Music for this movie is scored by GV Prakash Kumar. We can expect this movie to release in early 2011.

The title of the movie ‘Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ directed by Selvaraghavan starring Dhanush and Andrea has been changed as ‘Maravan’. Sources report that there are changes in the script too. G V Prakash will compose the music and introduce many new voices for the songs.

Meanwhile Selva has a bilingual project in hand in which he will work with the Tollywood’s popular actor Rana Daggubatti. Lets wait for ‘Maravan’ that is expected to hit the screens soon.

The shooting of ace director Selva Raghavan’s ‘Malai Nerathu Mayakkam’ starring Dhanush and Andrea has resumed today in Chennai.  Commenting on his movie Selva said that they had started the shoot before 14 days to wrap up the movie release within the scheduled time. GV Prakash will be  the music director and Ramji will be taking care of cinematography.

Selva also told that he is nervous like a beginner, while Dhanush stated “First day, first shot with Selva, it feels like going back to school again! A new film, a new role and when it is Selva, it is a new Avatar for me”. Lets wait to see the impact of the brothers on audience.

The movies which had the successful duo Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja went out to be block busters. With Yuvan Shankar Raja handling the music department and Selvaraghavan in the director’s chair, producers were happy to invest a lot in the movie. The fine examples are ‘Kadhal Konden’ and ’7G Rainbow Colony’.  But due to some misunderstanding and ego clash, the duo separated. The next movie of Selvaraghavan, ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ had a grand audio launch and it was G.V. Prakash’s musical. Many attempts to make them work together failed. Even Yuvan was invited to the audio launch of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ but nothing turned out positively.

Now it is heard that both Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja met in a city club late night and talked about their difference in opinions. If sources are to be believed, the duo has patched up and Yuvan will score music for Selvaraghavan’s next movie with Vikram.

The audio launch of the movie ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ has been planned in a grand manner. The first time Selvaraghavan has dumped his music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and has roped in G. V. Prakash as the music director for the movie. The movie ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is said to be periodical commercial entertaining subject and it has got 10 songs in the album. The music director G.V. Prakash has put in a lot of efforts and it has took him nearly a year and a half to compose the tunes. G. V. Prakash also told during the press meet that he has used different instruments and has put in a lot of efforts for the movie.

The director and the producer has planned for special events during the audio launch. First, G. V. Prakash will sing two numbers from the movie and then starts the real gala. The crew has planned for Shingaari Melam, rope dance, snake dance and Kalari Payattu. Also classical dance performance of actress Poorna can be witnessed by the viewers. Makossa dance from Nigeria will be the highlight of the audio launch. Will the musical numbers be a chart busters??? we have to wait and watch.

The much awaited movie of Selvaraghavan had finally got its release dates. The crew officially arranged for a press meet and the audio release date and the movie release date was announced officially. The press meet held yesterday (June 10) at the Accord Metropolitan, Chennai. The press meet of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ was attended by Selvaraghavan, Parthiban, Karthi, G. V. Prakash and Andrea.

The press meet started in the morning and Selvaraghavan started it with his humble speech. He said that he has not said anything new in the film but he has learned a lot while filming the movie. He also officially confirmed that the audio launch of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ will be held in a grand manner on June 14, 2009. The movie will be released in the month of July.

According to the director, he has handled a different genre in this movie. Parthiban plays a role of a king and Karthi as a labor. The heroines Andrea and Reema Sen have played the notable role of archaeologists. The movie also has two hours of animation sequences which is blended to the story. Selvaraghavan has tried to shoot the movie in Hollywood style and said that it is not a easy task to handle the shooting in Hollywood style. It is a long way to reach the goal of mastering the skill of directing movies in Hollywood style.

Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have given blockbuster movies right from their first movie. But, this time it will be a different pair. Yes. In the upcoming directorial venture of Selvaraghavan, tall and handsome Vishal will be playing the lead role. The recent updates say the movie has been titled ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ with Trisha pairing Vishal. Trisha who is busy in Telugu film industry has given her dates for ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’. Right now Trisha is in Bangalore shooting for her upcoming Telugu movie ‘King’ with Nagarjuna.
