It was really shocking to hear that the upcoming movie of Sarath Kumar, Jaggubhai, also written as ‘Jaggubai’ was released in the net before even hitting the screens. The offensive act of uploading a full length movie in net without even the release of the movie has made the producer to file a complaint against this act. The movie ‘Jaggubhai’ was uploaded in a website owned by person in Coimbatore. The Chennai cyber crime cell arrested the culprit and he was imprisoned.

The film Jaggubhai has Sarath Kumar and Shriya in lead roles. The movie is produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar. You can find a lot of sites illegally having an option to download the full movie. The movie which is available online has no background music and it runs for two hours. It is clear that the movie uploaded online is pirated before re-recording and final mixing.

CM Award Function for TV Serial Artists

The Chief Minister addressed an award function held in Chennai to announce grants to the makers of television serials and low-budget Tamil Films. He emphasized the importance of support given to the TV serial makers. He also said that the amount of grant provided to the producers of low-budget films may not be adequate, but however would support them.

Mrs. Raadhika Sarath Kumar and Kushboo, who received the awards for their participation in TV serials, thanked the Chief Minister for having instituted the scheme of awards. Raama Narayanan and M. Saravanan, film producers, applauded the award winning artists.

Among those who those who received the awards under different categories for TV serials are Rani Somanathan, Delhi Kumar, Ajay and Bharath. ‘Oruthi’, ‘Chidambarthil Oru Appasamy,’ ‘Kasu,’ and ‘Sasanam’ were among the films chosen for the grants.

Sarath Kumar has recently completed the shooting of his movie 1977 and is looking ahead to start his next movie Jaggu Bhai. This film is, directed by his lucky mascot director K.S. Ravi Kumar, and has already created quite a lot of publicity, as the duo have given a couple of hits already.

Jaggu Bhai is produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar’s Radaan Media works. The shooting of Jaggu Bhai is said to commence today (August 11, 2008). The crew of Jaggu Bhai, includes its female lead Shriya Saran, who will fly down to Bangkok on a 30-day program to shoot some of the scenes. The film is about a father and daughter relationship and Sarath will be seen in dual roles.
