Dhanush’s ‘Mappillai’ hits the theaters today. Lets wait and watch if Dhanush performance is up to the expectation for his fans. Saravanan(Dhanush) kidnaps a bride who is gayathiri’s(Hansika Motwani) friend. Gayathiri without knowing the fact, she gets him arrested. But later she came to know the truth that he saved her friend from forced marriage. She was impressed by his activities which made her fall in love with him. Initially he doesn’t accept her love but he turned towards her after seeing Rajeshwari’s (Manisha Koirala) arrogant statements & activities. He married Hansika and teaches Manisha the importance of love and affection. Manisha rejects their love and then the story begins between the arrogant Mother-in-law and the hero Dhanush.

The climax tells whether Manisha succeed in separating her daughter Hansika from Dhanush or understands the importance of love. Dhanush performance is outstanding throughout the story. Hansika as her debut made her role satisfactory. Manisha did her character too well as an arrogant mother-in-law. Everything is pretty well but lacks in clarity and screenplay. Director Suraj should have opted for a fresh script rather than taking up the old script. Overall the movie is entertaining but not that much impressive as there is no any fresh things added to the script.

‘Mappillai’ is the remake version of Rajini’s blockbuster film Mappillai, which was released in 1989. Dhanush pairs with Hansika Motwani the beautiful actress of Kollywood. Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala is playing an outstanding role in the film. Mani Sharma has scored the music for this film. ‘Mappillai’ is expected to release on April 15th, 2011.

Music has been composed by Mani Sharma and the audio is expected to release today in a grand manner. We can expect this movie to hit screens on April 15.

There is a talk of the industry about Nayantara accepting cameo roles. She appeared for a single song in ‘Sivaji’ and continued a same in ‘Kuselan’. This being a special thing as these two movies are Super Star films. But now Nayantara continues the same with other movies as well. We could see a drop in her steady career graph and rumor mills started churning out news that Nayantara has started accepting cameo roles as she has not even a single movie in Tamil.

Things are not sure till now, but we could see the cameo trend continue with Nayantara. After the special appearances in Rajinikanth’s films, she has accepted the guest appearance offer in ‘Goa’. The reason can be her friendship with Venkat Prabhu.

The recent update is that out of the friendly relationship developed with Dhanush after the super-hit movie ‘Yaradi Nee Mohini’, she has accepted a cameo role in Dhanush’s upcoming movie ‘Mappillai’.

If this continues, Nayantara is sure to be tagged as item girl. We don’t want this to happen and it is time for Nayantara to look for good scripts which gives her a break in her career.
