The theater owners association in Chennai conducted a meeting in which it was decided to boycott Vijay’s movies. This is because the actor has not responded to the voices of the theater owners to
compensate for the loss incurred due to screening of Vijay’s recent movies.


Vijay’s recent movies – ‘Azhagia Tamil Magan’, ‘Kuruvi’, ‘Villu’, ‘Vettaikaran’ and ‘Sura’ have blundered at the box office. The theater owners suffered serious losses by screening these movies. They wanted Vijay to compensate partially for the loss. “Since we are yet to get a positive reply from him, we have decided not to extend cooperation to the forthcoming films of Vijay.” they said.

Trisha, in recent years have exhibited her talents by choosing performance-oriented characters, mischievous and spontaneous city girl. She has also improved a lot in her timing sense which is essential for the comedy roles which she has been successful. Today, Trisha has acted with almost all the top heroes in Tamil and Telugu and still continues to be in the top slot in both the film industry despite tough competition. She is busy with her movies in both the languages. Right now  Trisha is busy in the shooting of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ opposite Simbu. She has also signed another Telugu movie. There is sweet news for all Ilaya Thalapathy fans. The actor has agreed to star in a film under the AVM banner after his forthcoming film Kuruvi. The film is being produced by A.V.M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan. The other cast in the movie are yet to be decided. AVM Productions is celebrating its 60th year in its film production and the news was confirmed through a press release.

The movie will be a big budget venture with prominent artists. Vijay is currently shooting for Kuruvi where he is paired with Trisha, director Dharani and music director Vidyasagar.
