After the tiresome work he had while shooting ‘Raavanan’ for 2 years, Mani Ratnam is all set to direct his next movie ‘Pookadai’. The ace director has chosen to introduce Karthik’s son Gautham in his movie. It is already known that Mani has given Karthik two massive hits through Agni Natchathram and Mouna Ragam.


The movie ‘Pookadai’ is expected to be an urban based love story. As usual A.R.Rahman will compose the music for the movie. Sources say that Mani has started the ground works for his next venture.

It has been quiet a long time since we have seen Selvaraghavan in the director’s seat. His upcoming movie Aayirathil Oruvan is still in sets even after a year and a half of making and the good news is that it is nearing its completion. The heroine of the movie Reema Sen said that they are drawing closer to the final schedule of the movie and so far it has come out well. It is also known that Reema has not committed herself to any other movie until she completes the shooting for this movie. She was all praises for the script and also said that such a convincing script demands hard work. She has predicted that this movie will turn out to be a blockbuster and she is very much pleased with her role in Aayirathil Oruvan. For the first time Selvaraghavan has replaced Yuvan with the budding music director G.V. Prakash. This movie will also be the second movie for Paruthiveeran Karthik Sivakumar.
