‘Chikku Bukku’ starring Arya and Shreya is directed by Manikandan worked as an associate to the late director Jeeva. It is a romantic travelogue that starts in London and ends in Karaikudi. The entire movie is expected to be shot in a train. The music for the movie is composed by Hariharan and Leslie Lewis.The shooting of the movie is completed and the Audio is slated for release in July 2010. ‘Chikku bukku’ the next flick of Arya is being directed by Manikandan. The movie has two heroines – Shriya and Preetika. The director has promised the audience that the movie will be a fresh one with a new concept that has never been taken in Tamil industry, additionally this movie will be the first Tamil movie to be shot in Austria.

The film is a city based love story with Shriya having a different makeover. While commenting on the movie Manikandan said “The movie is a travelogue of two people by starting in London and ends in Karaikudi. It’s a breezy love story, where the pairs won’t get any oppositions from the family. Instead, Arya and Shriya create problems within themselves”. He also added that train sequence will be an integral part of the movie and we believe Chikku Bukku will be showcase a different love story.

Shriya, known for her sexy dance moves has planned to take a break from Tamil movies. Her Tamil fans are no longer gifted to see her in Tamil. Now, she is concentrating in Malayalam films. After ‘Kandhasamy’ her next releases include, ‘Jaggubhai’ opposite to Sarath Kumar, ‘Kutty’ along with Dhanush and ‘Chikku Bukku’ with Arya.

It is to be noted that Shriya has not signed any Tamil movies after completing the above mentioned three movies. Confirming this, Shriya has rejected an offer to pair Srikanth in an untitled movie. Right now she is working with Mammootty in his upcoming movie ‘Pokkiri Raja’ in Malayalam.

The new addition to the ‘Goa’ film crew is Pooja. She is now replacing Preethika who is right now in the shooting of ‘Chikku Bukku’ with Arya. Pooja will fly to Goa to shoot a song sequence for the movie. She will be one among the three heroines in the movie ‘Goa’. The film directed by Venkat Prabhu is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth. The film has Jai, Sampath, Vaibhav and Premgi in lead roles and Sneha, Pooja and Juliana Fine in females lead roles.

The latest buzz in the industry is that Pooja will be seen in a glamorous role which is unlike her previous critically acclaimed movie ‘Naan Kadavul’ in which she did a role of a blind girl. Will her role be similar to the one she did in ‘Jay Jay’ or even more glamorous??? Let us wait and see.
