The most awaited songs of the Hindi movie ‘Raavan’ also written as ‘Ravan’ have released today. The Mumbai audience were gifted to see A. R. Rahman performing live during the audio launch. The audio launch of the movie was witnessed by the legend of the Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan. The movie features Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.

The movie ‘Raavan’ features six songs. Music for the movie is composed by the music legend A.R. Rahman. The movie has got top technical crew in the Indian cinema. The movie is directed by Mani Ratnam in both Hindi and Tamil. He is very cautious not to reveal the characters of Abhishek and Aishwarya in the movie. The film is expected to hit the screens in the month of June.

In the upcoming movie ‘Paa’, the son is going to play the role of a father. Yes. Abhishek Bachchan will be essaying a role of a father. The different story deals about a father and a son. The son suffers from disease of premature aging. The story clearly depicts the relationship between the premature son and his father. The movie is set to be released on children’s day.

The director said that he is happy to give a special film on this children’s day. The director, R. Balakrishnan, also known as Balki said that he had to bring out the child in Amitabh which naturally was in him. He also commented that Abhishek and Vidya Balan have done a tremendous role as his father and mother. The movie ‘Paa’ will hit the screens on November 14.

She also said that she is addicted to Rahman’s music. “Drona” an action film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Jaya Bachchan and Kay Kay Menon is from Rose movies. Drona will hit the silver screen on the October 02, 2008. The movie Drona is said to have a lot of special effects and Indian martial arts like Kalaripayat, Chhau, Gatka and Sword Fighting. The shooting of the film took place in Prague, Bikaner, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Namibia.

Drona seems to be the story of Prince of Persia. Drona is directed by Goldie Behl. Goldie Behl and Jaydeep Sarkar have contributed the screenplay. Cinematography by Sameer Arya and the costumes for the movie is designed by Anaita Shroff. The special effects for the movie is done by David Bush. Music director Dhruv Ghanekar has worked on the background music for the film Drona.

After the super hit movie ‘Guru’, the duo Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are teaming up once again for Mani Ratnam’s next movie. Mani Ratnam’s next movie is based on real life characters, the movie is said to be an intense love story.

This movie will be Abhishek and Mani Ratnam’s third film together. After their terrific affiliation they shared during ‘Yuva’, which Abhishek describes as his career’s first turning point, and ‘Guru’, as his second turning point, it doesn’t require much reckoning to see the creative and commercial capability of the Abhishek-Ratnam pair. The shooting for the movie is said to start in September.

India’s well known director Mani Ratnam and his production house Madras Talkies has signed a deal worth Rs 120 crore with Anil Ambani, for his new untitled film in three languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Director Mani Ratnam who is lovingly known as Mani sir in Kollywood is silently working on the script of this flick, since the release of his super hit Guru in January 2007.

The Hindi version of his new movie will feature Abhishek Bachchan- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Govinda in a negative role. The Tamil and Telugu version’s will have Vikram doing Abhishek’s role while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be the common heroine for all the three versions. It is going to be a tight rope walk for her as she has to organize her dates with Shankar’s ‘Robot’, during the same period.

The role being done by Govinda would be played by Pritviraj, who actually started his career in Tamil in a villain’s role in Kana Kandein. There are rumours that Karthik who last worked with Mani in Agninakshthram, will also be roped in to play an important role. Priyamani too will be playing a role in the film.

The movie is expected to start in Karaikudi from September 10, and will be shot in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. Mani’s all time favourite Isai Puyal A.R Rahman will be composing songs for this film which has now become one of the hottest projects in the country. Ace cameraman Manikandan who is now shooting for Priyadarsan’s Biloo Barber in Pollachi will be the man behind the camera.

The Bollywood beauty Queen Aishwarya Rai, her handsome better half Abishek Bachchan and dignified in-law Amitabh Bachchan are playing respective lead roles in the film ‘Sarkar Raaj’. Aishwarya plays the role of a CEO of a company who plans to build a power project. As per the story, she has to get approval for the project from Subhash Nagre, the role played by Amitabh Bachchan, and Shashank Nagre, the role played by Abishek Bachchan.
