Reema Sen to rule 2010. It’s not just a rumor. It is true. The girl who made her debut in Tamil through ‘Minnale’ has shaped herself very well in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. She looks hot and sexy in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. We can see a different Reema Sen in the movie. She had altogether a new make over, costume and of course a character. Reema sizzles in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. It is evident from people who talked about her sensational looks in the movie. The veteran director K.S. Ravikumar said that Reema looks sexier than before. Also, Surya said that he is seeing a new Reema Sen in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’.

When asked about this, Reema Sen said that her hard work has paid her. To gain a perfect figure she lost eight kilos of weight. She had a determination to look toned in the movie. The real treat in the movie comes after the first half when Reema appears.

The movies which had the successful duo Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja went out to be block busters. With Yuvan Shankar Raja handling the music department and Selvaraghavan in the director’s chair, producers were happy to invest a lot in the movie. The fine examples are ‘Kadhal Konden’ and ’7G Rainbow Colony’.  But due to some misunderstanding and ego clash, the duo separated. The next movie of Selvaraghavan, ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ had a grand audio launch and it was G.V. Prakash’s musical. Many attempts to make them work together failed. Even Yuvan was invited to the audio launch of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ but nothing turned out positively.

Now it is heard that both Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja met in a city club late night and talked about their difference in opinions. If sources are to be believed, the duo has patched up and Yuvan will score music for Selvaraghavan’s next movie with Vikram.

‘Paiya’, the upcoming movie of Karthi after ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is scheduled to be released this December.  But now the crew has decided to release the movie ‘Paiya’ only after ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. The directorial venture of Lingusamy after ‘Bheema’ is produced under the banner of Tiruppathi Brothers. Madhi has handled the cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music and Anthony is taking care of editing.

It is not to new in the industry that some of the leading actors suggesting changes in the script.  Directors who are strong in their script will not like actors poking nose into this department. Some may change according to the need of the actors. The cinematographer-director K.V. Anand who gives more importance to the script doesn’t like his actors to intervene into the process.

After the super hit movie ‘Ayan’, K.V. Anand wanted to do a film again with Suriya, but he was busy with his film with AR Murugadoss. So, K.V. Anand settled with his brother Karthi who completed ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and doing his ‘Paiyya’.

When the director approached Karthi, he stated making corrections in the script which was approved by him. Not liking this K.V. Anand called up Simbu for a meet. Well known of the influence of the cinematographer-director K.V. Anand, Simbu was interested in the call.

Finally, on hearing the story and script, Simbu had only a friendly note to add. “Why ask me my dates? You could have simply signed me up for this film.”

On hearing this, the team has started the pre-production work on kicking out Karthi and bringing in Simbu.

The audio launch of the movie ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ has been planned in a grand manner. The first time Selvaraghavan has dumped his music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and has roped in G. V. Prakash as the music director for the movie. The movie ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ is said to be periodical commercial entertaining subject and it has got 10 songs in the album. The music director G.V. Prakash has put in a lot of efforts and it has took him nearly a year and a half to compose the tunes. G. V. Prakash also told during the press meet that he has used different instruments and has put in a lot of efforts for the movie.

The director and the producer has planned for special events during the audio launch. First, G. V. Prakash will sing two numbers from the movie and then starts the real gala. The crew has planned for Shingaari Melam, rope dance, snake dance and Kalari Payattu. Also classical dance performance of actress Poorna can be witnessed by the viewers. Makossa dance from Nigeria will be the highlight of the audio launch. Will the musical numbers be a chart busters??? we have to wait and watch.

The much awaited movie of Selvaraghavan had finally got its release dates. The crew officially arranged for a press meet and the audio release date and the movie release date was announced officially. The press meet held yesterday (June 10) at the Accord Metropolitan, Chennai. The press meet of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ was attended by Selvaraghavan, Parthiban, Karthi, G. V. Prakash and Andrea.

The press meet started in the morning and Selvaraghavan started it with his humble speech. He said that he has not said anything new in the film but he has learned a lot while filming the movie. He also officially confirmed that the audio launch of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ will be held in a grand manner on June 14, 2009. The movie will be released in the month of July.

According to the director, he has handled a different genre in this movie. Parthiban plays a role of a king and Karthi as a labor. The heroines Andrea and Reema Sen have played the notable role of archaeologists. The movie also has two hours of animation sequences which is blended to the story. Selvaraghavan has tried to shoot the movie in Hollywood style and said that it is not a easy task to handle the shooting in Hollywood style. It is a long way to reach the goal of mastering the skill of directing movies in Hollywood style.

G.V. Prakash, the nephew of the ‘Mozart of Madras’, A. R. Rahman entered the film industry with his chart buster hit ‘Veyyil’. From then on the boy in his early twenties proved his musical abilities. Each and every movie he composed had good background score and there will be a song to top the audio charts. The talented budding music director is eagerly waiting for his next release for this summer.
