‘Kochadaiyaan’ is the forthcoming 3D-animation Tamil movie is being directed by Soundarya Ashwin Rajinikanth. This movie has Superstar Rajinikanth and Katrina Kaif in the main roles and Sneha, Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Shobana, Nassar in other pivotal roles. K.S. Ravikumar has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for ‘Kochadaiyaan’. Music is by A.R Rahman.

Debutant director Balaji Mohan’s ‘Kadhalil Sodhapuvadu Yeppadi’ is the forthcoming Tamil romantic movie features Siddharth and Amala Paul in the main roles. Music is by Thaman. This movie is slated for February release on Valentine’s day.

‘Nanban’ has released today with huge expectations as Illayathalapathy and Shankar have come together for the first time. This much anticipated movie is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster ’3 Idiots’. In the Hindi version, it was Aamir Khan who played Vijay’s role. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi played the roles of Srikanth and Jeeva respectively. Illeana’s role was played by Kareena Kapoor.

The story begins with the journey of Venkata Ramakrishnan (Srikanth) and Sevalkodi Senthil (Jiiva) in search of their intimate friend Panchavan Parivendan aka Paari (Vijay) who changed their lives and making them as the most renowned personalities of the industry. On the way to their journey there comes a flashback about their college days, the life of engineering students and the strict professor Dr.Virumaandi Sandhanam(Sathyaraj). Paari always wants the studies to be useful to lives and doesn’t believe in memorizing subjects like a student Srivatsan (Satyan), who is liked by the professor Santhanam (Sathyaraj) very much. Paari falls in love with the professor’s daughter Riya (Ileana), a medical college student. The rest of the story reveals about the missing guy Paari and his flashback and his love life.

Our hero Vijay’s performance is rocking. This movie is really a great treat for all Vijay fans. His well matured acting is awesome and apt for a jovial college guy. Jiiva and Srikanth performance are equally good and they supported and lift up the role of Paari. Illeana is attractive and apt for the role and this movie can bring her more offers in Kollywood. Sathyaraj has given an extraordinary performance. S J Suryah and Anuya Bhagawat have given cameo appearances. Music is by Harris Jayaray. Talking about the songs, all the songs have already topping the charts especially “En Frienda pola yaru macha” song is rocking among the youths. ‘Nanban’ is definitely a landmark movie for Shankar and every scene speaks about his hard work and his creativity about direction. Adharvaa’s ‘Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal’ movie is slated for February release and the movie has been directed by Elred Kumar. Mynaa fame Amala Paul plays the female lead opposite Adharvaa. Music has been scored by G.V Prakash.

Vijay’s ‘Nanban’ is one of the most expected movies by his fans. ‘Nanban’ is Illayathalapathy’s dream project as it has been directed by the Veteran director Shankar and it’s a remake of blockbuster Hindi movie ‘3 Idiots’. The audio of this much awaited film was launched on Friday evening at Coimbatore in a grand manner. SA Chandrasekhar launched the audio and he handed over the first copy to Prabhu.

The 3D audio launch was attended by many audiences and celebrities and Vijay sang a few lines from one of the songs ‘Askku Laska’ on stage to entertain his audiences. Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Rajapattai’ is released today and Vikram again proves himself through this super action movie. Our hero Anal Murugan(Vikram) enters the story as a Gym Instructor and his aim in life is to become a successful villain in films. But fate turns his life and he is fighting against the people who are involved in land grabbing and rescue the innocent people who were affected from this act.

Pradeep Rawat is a baddie indulging in land grabs. Anal Murugan falls in love with a beautiful girl Deeksha Seth, who works in an IT company. The villain grabs land from K. Viswanath and the rest of the story reveals how Anal Murugan wins Pradeep Rawat and stops the land grabs. How he succeed in his love life??? Vikram’s performance is powerful and he is apt for his role. Vikram’s 10 different getups is the highlight of the movie. Deeksha Seth is gorgeous and given a good entry in Kollywood. Mithra Kurien, Viswanath has done their role well and their characters are very important in the movie.

Pradeep Rawat as a baddie is perfect in his role. Music by Yuvan Shankar raja is good especially the peppy song ‘Laddu laddu rendu laddu…’ features Shreya Saran, Vikram and Reema Sen make the audiences dance. Director Suseendran has given a movie with all effective action sequences and a screenplay. Overall ‘Rajapattai’ is a good action-entertaining movie and can be watched by all kinds of people.

Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the first time in Vikram’s movie. The movie has five songs and Yugabharathi has penned down the lyrics. Dancers performed for ‘Rajapattai’ songs on the stage during the function. This movie will hit the screens on December 23, 2011. The most and much anticipated movie of young super star STR’s (Simbu) ‘Osthi’ is released today. It is long-familiar that this movie is a remake of Bollywood super hit movie ‘Dabaang’. It is directed by hit maker director Dharani. Now, let us pop on to the story line. It’s a cop story but a bit different in approach. As other heroes Osthi Velan (STR) plays a role of a cop who is strong and very courageous.

He helps the needy from the money obtained illegally. But his hatreds towards father and stepbrother Balan (Jithan Ramesh) were strong. Here comes our heroine Richa Gangopadhyay. ‘Osthi’ falls in love with Neduvaali who is living with her drunkard father (VTV Ganesh). Obviously there must be enemy and Daniel, boxer (Sonu Sood) becomes Velan’s enemy and the climax reveals how he succeeds his enemy. Simbu’s style of execution towards the cop role is quite different and highly stylish. It’s good to watch him throughout the movie and has done it with ease. Richa Gangopadhyay has done very well in the village role. She is very homely and her chemistry with Simbu is really fantastic. Her expressions and emotions are superb sure she will rock in Kollywood. Santhanam as a funny cop supports Simbu who makes the audiences as a good feast of laughter.

Jithan Ramesh’s performance is pretty well and energetic. Dharani has given a complete commercial movie to entertain the audiences. Dharani’s dialogues are crisp. Talking about songs… hits the top with peppy numbers and the credit goes to music director Thaman. A movie without Simbu’s writing and singing is quite amazing thing. Here comes his penned song ‘Pondatti’ which is yet another hit for him. Last but not least… one of the songs which make audiences dance and whistle is ‘Kalasala’ song. Wondering matter is, our ever magical voice L.R.Eswari has sung the song that boosts up with Bollywood peppy queen Mallika Sherawat on screen. This song must be yet another massive hit for the listeners.

Overall ‘Osthi’ is an entertaining movie and sure it’s a treat for all STR fans with his different punch. ‘Osthi’ will be a real osthi movie for Kollywood. Watch and have fun… Will be back shortly with next interesting movie review
