In a recent interview to a popular daily, Steven Spielberg said that he would prefer to work with A.R. Rahman. He said that he has heard his compositions and would like to work him soon. Though he loves to work with A. R. Rahman, his all time favorite is John Williams.

The pop star Rihanna who shot to fame with few releases has been awarded the Women of the Year by the Glamour magazine. The function held at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She accepted this award for the year 2009 during the annual award show of the magazine. The supermodel Iman gave away the award to Rihanna. With her recent hit, ‘Umbrella’, Rihanna was seen happy receiving this award.

She dedicated the award to her entire family. During the function, she said, “I love being a part of a night where we’re celebrating women and such strong women. I really look up to my granny and my mom. They are my two women of the year. They’ve shown me what strong women can accomplish and achieve. Without their unconditional love and guidance, I wouldn’t be here.”

Popular Hollywood star Brad Pitt hardly finds time to have his shower. The busy father of six is packed with duties and is unable to find time to have a bath. Recently during the shooting for the movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’, he had shared with his co-star Eli Roth. The actor had a few close shot with Eli when the other found that he had no time to bath and just managed with baby wipes.

When Eli asked Brad Pitt about it he said that he did not have time to shower and it is all baby wipes is he is using. Eli Roth also said that Brad is pissed on all day with his duty as a father and is unable to carry out his basic day to day thing of bathing. After his directorial ventures, Eli Roth is playing a role in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Basterds’.

The king of pop world, Micheal Jackson underwent a very painful treatment for his skin cancer. The treatment known as skin-shaving surgery has been done yesterday. Layers of skin will be removed from his chest and nose area. As the result of the treatment Micheal Jackson will get rid of the harmful growths in his flesh. It is not sure whether the doctors have decided to give him radiation gun therapy. It depends on the results of the test and this therapy will zap affected areas.

Due to this, Micheal Jackson has announced the postponement of his first four shows in Britain. The show organizers are suffering as the result of this announcement from the star. He also said that he needs time to rehearse to make the show a spectacular event. It also said that the opening night show at O2 Arena in London has been moved forward from July 8 to July 13. The eagerly waited fans were frustrated. Let us hope that he recovers from his ill-health and has ample time to rehearse.

Britney Spears who has been in news for facing personal hardships before two years has now recovered and started enjoying her life with her sons. The cool and stylish singer was spotted in the Caribbean frolicking with her two sons. The pop star is blessed with two kids and news sources say that she had good relaxation with her sons at a beech. She helped them building sand castles and was seen playing with them in the waters. She also surfed in the water with her agent Jason Trawick.

Hollywood popular film maker Steven Spielberg has got the legal rights to make biopic on Martin Luther King,  the man who fought for the civil rights of African-American people. This great man was assassinated at the age of 39 in 1968. Now winning the intellectual property rights of Martin Luther King, Spielberg’s production company DreamWorks will be able to use the speeches, books and the works of King.

The attempt of making a film on Martin Luther King was the long time dream of Spielberg. On getting the approval from King’s estate Steven Spielberg can bring out the historic events through a good story to the people through the powerful medium called movies.

The couple and Paris Hilton became good friends and the hot news is that the actress was fascinated about the couple and wanted her kids to be named Victoria and David. The famous pop singer Micheal Jackson has got strict instructions from the doctors to increase his weight. The king of pop music is right now under antibiotic medication to treat his skin infection. He is also suffering from back injury and he wears his mask to avoid bugs. The 50 years old pop star has planned for 50 live shows which starts from July 8. Before that he has to recover from his injury.

The organizers and promoters of the shows have assured that he will recover and will be present for the show but internally they too have fears about his health condition. Doctors have ordered him to eat well but he is taking only small quantity of food that a bird takes.

Universal Society of Hinduism is working hard to add Kirtan as a new category in the future award shows of Grammy. Kirtan which is gaining popularity in West, mainly USA and Canada has got many Indian artists releasing new Kirtan albums. Officials of Universal Society of Hinduism said that in 2009 there were 110 music categories and in 2010, they would urge the Grammy to include Kirtan to the categories.

One of the Hindu Scholar named Rajan Zed said the effects of listening to the Kirtan. He said that Kirtan has meditating effect and powerful healing and transformational energies of the ancient chants helps to calm and focus the minds. So, will Kirtan be added as a new category at Grammy, we will have to wait for the results.

The celebrity couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been living separately in Italy and USA respectively. Beckham having his career before his family is missing his kids and his wife. Victoria is single-handedly raising her three kids in USA. Victoria, also known as Posh wanted to throw a black tie party, but as David is concentrating more into his career, she has decided to keep the celebrations private.

The couple proved wrong to the critics who commented that their relationship will not last long. But for the first time in 10 years of their marriage life, Victoria is angry with Beckham. The couple is working hard to keep their family together but it is hard to understand why Victoria is not moving to Milan with Beckham.
