Arulnidhi’s new venture ‘Udhayan’ has hit the big screens today. After the success of ‘Vamsam’ this is his second movie directed by Chaplin. ‘Udhayan’ is a completely different from his first movie as it is completely a commercial flick. His role in this movie is a normal city boy….

Story:

Arulnidhi as Udhayan works as an assistant manager in a bank at Chennai. His life goes uninteresting until he meets the young and bubbly Priya (Praneetha). He as expected by everyone falls in love with her and Udhayan is sweetheart of many,  he is admired for his actions and thoughts. The comedian Santhanam works in the same bank spread his comedy all over and make his surroundings happy. Now enters an old man (Ashish vidyarthi) who searches every nook and corner for Udhayan. Priya’s father has come to know about his daughter love and want to separate them with the help of his boss. He arranged some killer gang to kill udhayan. The remaining part deals how Udhayan saves his life and marry priya??

Performances:

Arulnidhi has done his role well, he looks good and with different performance from his previous movie. He looks very handsome and stylish as a city youth. Praneetha looks very cute and done her part well. Santhanam as usual covered the audiences with his mind blowing comedy. Ashish Vidyarthy’s performance is good and his all the characters in the movie has given their best for the movie success.

Director Chaplin has done a good and a thrilling storyline, executed well on screen but still its an usual movie not any new things added….Songs by Manikanth Kadri, Son of saxophone player Kadri Gopalnath are good and he attracted the audiences with his catchy tunes. Worth watching and hope you all will enjoy it….
