We know that Vijay is busy shooting his new movie titled ‘Velayudham’ under the direction of Jayam Raja. This film is produced by Oscar Ravichandran and Hansika.Genelia is playing the female lead opposite Vijay. Cinematographer Priyan, who has worked for Suriya starrer ‘Singam’ is the man behind the camera of Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ too. Vijay Anthony is composing the music.
The film shooting is progressing at a rapid pace and the crew has already completed its first schedule in Chennai for 15 days. A song was shot with the lead pair for 8 days in a complex set for the value of Rs 1 crore. The crew is currently shooting in Golconda, Andhra Pradesh. The stunt master Selvam, has shot stunt scenes involving Vijay and stunt men.
