Looks like the word ‘Blockbuster’ is written all over the DNA of Endhiran. The movie is making/breaking records on all levels. Here’s an inkling of Endhiran’s records: The movie is the costliest ever to be made in India. It is said that Endhiran has achieved what James Bond’s sequel ‘Quantum of Solace’ couldn’t do. Yes! Endhiran got permission to shoot in a spot where ‘Quantum of Solace’ was denied permission.
The spot in question is Machu Pichu, a protected heritage site at Peru. Machu Pichu is a mountain that is engulfed in high security at Peru. The shooting permission at Machu Pichu was denied for the ‘Quantum of Solace’ crew. But Endhiran has set a record by shooting a song, ‘Kilimanjaro’ at this place. Though the Endhiran crew has achieved it only after proper procedures and permissions, it is still a feat that we can be proud of!
