After the great success of ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya’, all eyes are focused on Simbu. Several social service institutions have started requesting Simbu to lend hands to them. A report quotes that Simbu will soon announce officially about his part in the social service activities.
While applying for Visa for shooting ‘Vaanam’ at UK, Simbu was asked to write down his name by expanding the initials. Simbu had written it as Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendran. On seeing this an officer had told Simbu to change his name as STR as it resembles that of MGR and NTR. Simbu was happy to adapt the new name and wants his fans to call him so in future.
