Varalakshmi daughter of Sarath Kumar bagged the offer from versatile director Bala, to act the female lead role in his fourth coming film. Earlier she was about to make her acting debut with Simbu in Poda Podi, but she walked out due to Simbu’s delayed shooting schedules.
The movie is not yet titled and will be produced by Kalapathy Agoram of AGS entertainment. The male lead roles are played by Vishal and Arya. We heard Bala had travelled entire state of Tamilnadu in search of new faces with good command over tamil. Since no one fulfilled Bala’s expectations, the director opted for Sarath Kumar’s daughter, who is good at speaking Tamil.
