Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots has broken the record collection of Ghajini within a week after its release. Ghajini had the record of the highest collection for the opening weekend. Now this record been smashed by another Aamir Khan-starrer, 3 Idiots. This is a huge surprise for Aamir himself as the film is said to have generated about Rs. 93 crores in the opening weekend.
Vidhu Vinot Chopra, the producer of 3 Idiots, said “ Response has been overwhelming all over the world”. Some unofficial sources claim the movie is running successfully overseas. Especially in Australia, it is reported that Avatar shows have been reduced to screen 3 Idiots. The movie is about IIT graduates and stars Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor.
