It is not to new in the industry that some of the leading actors suggesting changes in the script. Directors who are strong in their script will not like actors poking nose into this department. Some may change according to the need of the actors. The cinematographer-director K.V. Anand who gives more importance to the script doesn’t like his actors to intervene into the process.
After the super hit movie ‘Ayan’, K.V. Anand wanted to do a film again with Suriya, but he was busy with his film with AR Murugadoss. So, K.V. Anand settled with his brother Karthi who completed ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and doing his ‘Paiyya’.
When the director approached Karthi, he stated making corrections in the script which was approved by him. Not liking this K.V. Anand called up Simbu for a meet. Well known of the influence of the cinematographer-director K.V. Anand, Simbu was interested in the call.
Finally, on hearing the story and script, Simbu had only a friendly note to add. “Why ask me my dates? You could have simply signed me up for this film.”
On hearing this, the team has started the pre-production work on kicking out Karthi and bringing in Simbu.
