The ‘Mozart of madras’ as he is known is flooded with offers after he clenched two Oscars. The ‘Isai Puyal’ A. R. Rahman has been receiving offers from famous film makers of Hollywood, Bollywood and Kollywood. Now he is busy with the offers he has accepted and become even more responsible to give quality music. People expect a lot from him and are eagerly waiting for his next release. A. R. Rahman has also signed with Hollywood film makers for his next project.
Such a dedicated person is to be honored for his contribution to the music field. This will be done by Aligarh Muslim University. The University will be honoring A. R. Rahman for his best work in the filed of music. He will be receiving honorary doctorate degree from Aligarh Muslim University. This function which is to be held on June 07, 2009 will be graced by the Governor of West Bengal, Shri. Gopalkrishna Gandhi.
