The movie ‘Sakkarakatti’ is directed by Kala Prabhu. The cast of the movie are Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Ishita, Vedika, Lokesh, Shibi. Sakkarakatti movie is produced by Kalaipuli S. Dhanu and directed by his very own son Kala Prabhu. ‘Sakkarkatti’ is his directorial debut movie and it has come out well targeting the youth crowd. The background music for Sakkarakatti is scored by music mastero A.R. Rahman. The songs for Sakkarkatti are penned by Pa. Vijay, Na. MutuKumar and Vaali. Andrew has handled the camera for this movie.
The movie “Sakkarkatti” is a mix of many love stories from the Bollywood movies. ‘Sakkarakatti’ is about a college going happy and go lucky youngster Yuvaraj ( Shanthanu Bhagyaraj). Two beautiful girls fall in love with him and among the two Yuvaraj falls in love with his college mate Deepali (Ishita). Yuvraj’s cousin (Vedika) is also in love with him. Inspite of her knowing the fact that he is love with someone else, Vedika expresses her love for him. Unfortunately due to some misunderstanding, Yuvraj and Deepali are seperated and join hands in the climax.
