The gorgeous Lara Dutta  started her career as a model. After winning the Gladrags Super Model and subsequently winning the Miss India and then Miss Universe in 2000,  she made a promise to do more good things for the betterment of society.

In 2001, Lara Dutta was made the Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Population Fund. Right from that time Lara has worked on different projects that involved in educating people on AIDS and has helped in the global awareness for women’s lack of rights and access to reproductive health services in India.

In 2008, Lara Dutta has also been given the prestigious ‘Rajiv Gandhi Award’ for her involvement in educating people along with her contribution to the field of entertainment by giving outstanding performances in her movies like Partner, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Zinda, No Entry, etc
