Vijay has announced his latest movie. The project named Vettiakaaram will be produced under the prestigious banner - AVM. Vijay is expected to start acting in this movie after completing his current movie Villu which is under production. Asin is expected to pair Vijay in the movie while other sources say that it may be Tamannah.

AVM is expecting to rope in A.R.Rahman for the music and it is planning to bring in a surprise villain as well. The movie name will be revised as the name of the movie is the yesteryear’s MGR superhit movie.
