Meera Jasmine is now and then connected with different men like Lokidas, S J Suryah, and Mandolin Srinivas. Meera Jasmine has earned the anger of the Malayalam film industry because she refused to act in the film Twenty-Twenty.
Currently Meera Jasmine is playing the lead role with Jagapathy Babu in Telugu film Bangaru Babu. A song sequence was to be shot in Kashmir, so the lead pair flew to Srinagar.
Both of them left for shooting from their hotel in separate cars. Jagapathy Babu’s car went on but Meera’s car being a little slower was caught in the middle of troublemakers at Konamarg, where protests are being held over the Amaranth temple land matter.
As stones were thrown at her car making small damages, Meera Jasmine went into a fear, not knowing what to do, untill the army stepped in as rescuer and escorted her. Because of this, shooting was cancelled.
