Shahid Kapoor Mobbed by Fans!!

It’s quite common that Shahid Kapoor is a youth icon amongst college going group. But an incident that took place recently showed how famous Shahid is in smaller towns other than Mumbai. Recently when Shahid was shooting at Pune he was rabbled up by college student especially girls.
Shahid was in Pune shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s romantic comedy, Kaminay. It was meant to be a quiet shoot. But when students came to know that Shahid was shooting in the city word spread like wild fire and Pune being a campus city for college students it was not difficult to locate shooting spot in the city. His fans mobbed him.
Finally, director Vishal Bharadwaj had to ask for extra security to take care of his fans. In the confusion that ensued, some local news reporters who had come to interview Shahid too were chased off by the security men thinking they were just Shahid’s fans trying to get closer to the actor. Shahid however was very surprised as he had never imagined he would spawn so much craze ever.
