After Sivaji - the biggest buzz in the industry, Rajinikanth’s immediate move was Kuselan. Instead of the title character, he himself has chosen the role did by Mammootty in Katha Parayumbol. If you are curious to about the role chosen by Superstar himself, then, let us reveal here a few.
Titled as Kuselan in Tamil and Kathanayakudu in Telugu, it is a remake from Malluwood. It is under the banner Kavithalaya veteran director P.Vasu directs Rajinikanth and Pasupathi. Unlike usual remake movies, the script of the movie has been modified a lot to meet the demands of Superstar fans. Released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, this movie is set to satisfy the expectations of both the audience.
Storyline that impressed our Superstar is simple yet powerful as he is. It is all about friendship! The story goes to explain how a poor barber fighting for his day-to-day living surprises everyone in the village by revealing a secret and the subsequent changes in his life. According to the plot, Balan, a barber (Pasupathi) happens to be the childhood friend of the Superstar Ashokraj (Rajinikanth).
As the story gathers heat, there is no more to open up. We have to wait to see whether Balan meets Ashokraj and whether Ashokraj recognizes his childhood friend??? Playing the title role, Pasupathi has good scope for acting and Meena plays the role of his wife. Portrayed as Superstar Ashokraj, Rajinikanth will be pairing with sizzling Nayantara.
The young talented musician G.V. Prakash has composed music and the story is penned by Sreenivasan. There is also lot of surprises in the movie and one to mention is that leading actors and actress in filmdom will play guest role in Kuselan.
