Actress Mamtha Mohandas, who is from Kerala, was last seen in the Tamil film of Karu Pazhaniappan’s ‘Sivapathigaram’ opposite actor Vishal. Unfortunately the film did not do well at the box office. The actress went to the Telugu and Kannada industry. She has now come back to the Tamil industry. She has signed in a Tamil film which is to be directed by Fazil. Priyadarshan will be producing the film.
Prithviraj will be donning the lead role in the film. Mamtha has rendered her voice in Simbu’s ‘Kaalai’ under G.V. Prakash’s music. Mamtha has even won the Andhra Pradesh State Award for the best playback singer, 2007, for the song in the Telugu film ‘Rakhi’.
