Comedian Will Ferrell has expressed his desire to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to create an Oscar for Best Comedy performer too. Ferrell has said that the comedy actors have more talent than the serious stars.
So the comedians must also be recognized and honored for their works. He also challenges that a serious actor will not be able to perform a comedy scene like a comedian.
